Outdoor Chair Contest

Rovereto (Italy)

 

Competition held by the Municipality of Rovereto, searching a new outdoor chair for commercial shops to guarantee social distancing in the period of Covid 19.

The shape of the new chair is inspired by the evocative landscapes of the Trentino Alto Adige region, its mountains that embrace, defend and protect its valleys.

The structure is made of square section tubulars, in iron or steel, where the seat and the curved slats in dark or light laminated wood are fixed, using materials typical of the region, with local production and processing.
